Recapping on news from last week, we announced that BT, the major telecoms provider in the UK and one of the world’s largest telcos, is using our world-class IPTV headend across BT TV and BT 
Sport, benefiting from our encoding, video distribution and services platform. This includes our SE-6501 and SE-6601 encoders, and our DM6400 Cherrypicker, which supports the high-profile content shown on BT’s popular sports channels.
ARRIS was the natural choice for BT to help provide its revolutionary Sports offering and deliver an excellent viewing experience to their customers, which launched 1 August and is enjoyed by some four million homes across the UK and Ireland.
