- At 7:30 AM PT at the Treasure Island Hotel, Engineering Fellow Dr. Sean McCarthy will be a panelist for “The Roadmap to 4K/Ultra HD Readiness: How to Plan For Tomorrow’s Resolution Standard” at FierceCable’s executive breakfast. Specifically, the panel will examine Ultra HD adoption today and what needs to happen for 4K to become the new technology standard.
- At 9:00 AM PT in the North Hall N262, Vice President of Strategy and Business Development Ian Greenblatt will participate in Digital Hollywood’s “Ultimate TV: The OTT - Multiscreen Experience” panel. He’ll discuss how over-the-top (OTT) services and multiscreen functionality are driving consumer expectations for a personalized entertainment and social experience from their TVs.
- Also at 9:00 AM PT, Director of Systems Engineering Dan Torbet will present in the North Hall N261 on “Getting to 50 Billion Devices: CEA & IoT.” This is a discussion on how to build future proof IPv6 devices and what’s behind CEA’s new standard, Host and Router Profiles for IPv6.
