Furthermore, CSI quoted ARRIS CTO Charles Cheevers on the benefits and rollout of RDK-B, as well as the industry’s efforts to put an IoT module into the RDK-B framework.

Additionally, The Wall Street Journal reported that results from Nielsen’s Total Audience Report contradict theories of a dire TV landscape. The report suggested that the number of video impressions versus traditional TV is not fully indicative of viewership since they are measured differently.

Lastly, Business Insider predicted that the market for smart home technology will peak in the next two years. It also reported that 60 million of the 91 million households with broadband service are currently interested in smart home technology due to the additional cost savings and product familiarity.
