ces-2015ARRIS pioneered digital TV, introduced the world’s first wireless broadband gateway and most recently, the first 16x4 channel bonding cable modem at retail. Today, we’re introducing another first: Gigabit Home Networking (G.hn) in routers and adapters.

Our new G.hn power line communication routers and adapter designs are the industry’s first to support this new standard, combining the necessity of fast Internet, and powerful Wi-Fi with the ubiquity of powerline networks (i.e. electrical wall outlets)—making it easy to stay connected, anywhere at home.

That’s important because it’s the epicenter for tomorrow’s entertainment and communications experiences—from UltraHD to multiscreen, nDVR, IoT, and more. But at their core is the assumption of a home network that can support these incredible experiences and scale to their unprecedented growth.

ARRIS is raising the bar in wired home networking to drive this next stage of growth. Imagine being able to plug your DVR with an adapter into any electrical outlet in the house and instantly watch it on any TV in your home… or plugging your computer into any outlet to get high-speed internet access. Our new G.hn router, G.hn powerline adapter designs, and G.hn Wi-Fi adapter give consumers three options for improving their internet performance using the powerlines already in their home.

Be sure to check out our demos at the HomeGrid Forum’s booth at CES, South Hall, Booth #21624 for a sneak peek of the future of home networking.
