This year at ANGA COM, we’re introducing ARRIS Insights: a new area of our booth (#E21) dedicated to sharing our findings as we work with the world’s leading service providers to solve some of the industry’s most pressing challenges.

The ARRIS Insights presentations are 10 minutes long and will run throughout the event – follow us on Twitter (@ARRIS) or pop by the booth to get a timetable.

Our experts will focus on the following key topics:

Managing Constant Network Evolution

The ever-increasing demand for bandwidth is driving unprecedented change in all aspects of the broadband network and operations. The ARRIS Global Services team helps operators devise a logical plan to manage this change, with comprehensive, proven procedures and expertise.

  • We’ll share details of our proven methodology and tools for managing certain functions of the process to ensure smooth and seamless network evolution, enabling operators to focus on their core business.

Choosing the Right Fiber-to-the-Home Solution for Multi-gigabit Services

Operators are looking to deeper fiber deployments to anticipate consumer demand for tomorrow’s multi-gigabit services. But there are choices to be made: do you add RFoG to the existing cable HFC network, with an eye on eliminating OBI? Does DPoE (DOCSIS Provisioning of Ethernet Passive Optical Network) make 10G EPON a natural choice for symmetrical multi-gigabit services? Or do you consider NG-PON2, especially in a greenfield environment, where ARRIS’s collaboration with Altice Labs for xPON solutions will bring real value?

  • ARRIS experts will outline all the options, drawing on our global experience and latest demonstrations at ANGA COM.

Gigabit Wi-Fi throughout the Home

Not all consumers want to be CTO of their own home network; they just want flawless wireless broadband and access to high-quality video on any screen.  But reliably delivering that in every home poses some unique challenges.

  • We’ll look at new innovations for evolving the home network and at how operators can increase customer satisfaction using advances in Wi-Fi gateways and extenders (we’re predicting within five years the modern home will need three extenders) as well as self-healing, self-help tools.

Monetizing Wide-Area Wi-Fi

A managed Wi-Fi network can support multiple consumer and enterprise services on a huge scale, but designing it properly is absolutely crucial in minimizing consumer frustration and lost revenue.

  • We’ll share lessons from the world-class Wi-Fi network we designed and deployed at NASCAR’s Daytona International Speedway, including how to plan and design seamless, high quality Wi-Fi hotspots, whether it’s for a small business, residential or public area.
