Today Dan Rabinovitsj announced his decision to accept a new role outside of Ruckus Networks and ARRIS. I am sure this came as a surprise to many of you. Dan is one of the smartest guys I have ever worked with, as well as an extremely passionate, humorous and caring person who has worked tirelessly to ensure all of our partners, customers and employees were supported through a very turbulent period last year.
Under Dan's leadership, Ruckus has emerged stronger and better equipped to compete in the marketplace, and it's showing in our results and market share. Dan and I have partnered closely over the last three years on strategy and business objectives and share the same views on all the important topics (although our taste in music and sports vary somewhat!)
I am excited and honored to accept the opportunity to lead this team as the new president of the Ruckus Networks business, effective July 1, 2018. Dan and I will continue to work closely together to ensure a smooth transition.
This is a very exciting time to be at Ruckus as we experience tremendous growth and momentum under ARRIS. We have a vibrant business with a strong product portfolio, a great leadership team, and partner relationships which are the envy of our competitors. We set the standard for access and network performance across the most demanding applications and it is proving out in the momentum you have all seen in our recently announced wins and product launches including:
- Dell OEM Agreement/Launch
- Google Wi-Fi Station – India, Mexico, Indonesia
- Specialty Wi-Fi Access Points for Smart Cities, Stadiums and Public Transport – E510 and M10
- Cloud-managed Wi-Fi for Schools, Retail and SMBs in EMEA
- CBRS-band LTE Access Portfolio
- IoT Suite enabling organizations to do more with their network
We continue to see success in industries that require the highest-performance networking that's simple to deploy, manage and scale, and we are making technological breakthroughs that are shaping the industry including:
