Network Monitoring

Today’s networks are a complex eco-system of inter-dependent systems. Today’s CSP’s (Communication Service Providers) require visibility into all aspects of these network systems.

ARRIS provides an end to end solution for the collection and analysis of network element data.  ARRIS collects, monitors, and manages services delivered over a variety of access networks and serving network systems including DOCSIS, PON, xDSL, from the customer premises to the CSP serving network in Hubs and Central Offices.  

Outage

Customer satisfaction does not begin with a phone call. CSP’s worldwide have identified Outage management as a central function to improving overall customer satisfaction and brand recognition. For many operators, the ability to know an outage is occurring and begin servicing the problem before a customer calls is fundamental to their success and competitive differentiation. ARRIS Outage operates across Network Monitoring data with patented algorithms to detect service and subscriber impacting issues, delivering fault management, identifying root cause and dispatching the right technician to the right location.

Reporting

Reporting data drives our customer’s business decisions every day. Key metrics result from the collection and analysis of Network Monitoring data. This data is exposed in multiple formats, based on the user persona such as Customer Service Representative (CSR), Operations Support, and Engineering to deliver service and product management effectively.

Provisioning

To be effective in a highly competitive IP service environment, the ability to quickly provision and manage a variety of customer and network devices is imperative. ARRIS Provisioning supports a wide range of customer gateways, peripherals and network elements. 

Self-Care

Enabling customer self- management helps CSP’s improve customer satisfaction, and enables customers to manage their own account, service, and device preferences.

ARRIS Self-Care portal enables subscribers to control their managed devices and offers visibility to un-managed devices in the customer premises. Using the self-care portal subscribers can see alerts and notifications from their service provider, implement their own service quality tests or be guided through common configuration tasks.

Installation

The key to a good installation is getting it right the first time. Repeat truck rolls or increased call volumes are costly to CSPs.

ARRIS Installation tools are enabling both field service technicians and end subscribers with integrated tools to validate service installation, quality, and configuration.

Analytics
